These are some pics from our friend Keith Lorence of a Hobie 33 with long penalty poles (+ 4 feet), a giant asymmetrical spinnaker and a larger (10%) girth main. Those of you who have sailed 33's have no doubt thought that adding some horsepower to one of these things would be awesome, and apparently it is. Keith, his son Ryan, and crew just won their class in the San Diego to Ensenada race. Very cool.
