The new Farr 36 is about to make it's debut at Key West. We had a nice chat on the phone with Markus Fiala, the owner of the white boat you see in the pictures. It's hard not to look at the pictures of the gray boat and think that is what a real race boat should look like. This will be a really interesting boat to watch.

Have read your site, almost since inception, when I found your rant on the Farr 36 (actually Solo wrote it, and it's a beauty. www.sailinganarchy.com/fringe/ranting%20reader.htm -Ed).

Never the less, times change and the world evolves and it seems like Farr and DK and Carroll Marine have created something that should be great fun! Well I hope so.

The attached pictures are of hull #2, will send a few other mails with additional pictures (there are some on www.farr36.org). It should be at Key West unless the Jervis Bay gets delayed. Quantum (David Flynn and Per Anderson) have suppleied the sails (Cuben fiber - Ed) with B&G doing the electroncis.
