This is the latest picture of the JS 9000. Details of the project will be forthcoming, but I am struck by the raw essence of this boat: pure simplicity. Here is something that drills right to the core of our sport and does it in a very clean and purposeful way. My Editorial last week focused on what I think sailing should be about: fun, speed, and ease of use. Does this boat seem to do that? From what we've seen, I think the answer is yes.
